From our good friends at World Bicycle Relief:
“The team created a finisher’s t-shirt with the hashtag #DKLEGEND–the term Curt Shelman from Chamois Butt’r minted for the amazing and hard working cyclists who made it through this year’s particularly tough race. And the proceeds? Donated to World Bicycle Relief. Jim Cummins sums it up:
“We honored our event finishers, continued to build the DK community, and provided folks with an opportunity to support a great cause. A true “Win-Win-Win”. What could be better?”
Over 100 shirts were sold at the finish line to benefit WBR, and the folks at Dirty Kanza look forward to supporting the Power of Bicycles in the future.
“The Dirty Kanza provides its participants with an opportunity to use the bicycle to challenge themselves and to reach beyond what they perceive to be their personal “limits”. World Bicycle Relief uses the bicycle to allow people the opportunity to reach new heights as well. We believe it just makes perfect sense for DK to support World Bicycle Relief.”
Congratulations to all the finishers at the Dirty Kanza and thanks for your support!”
