DirtRag Magazine Ups the Ante on DK200 Video Contest…

Last week, I received a phone call from my good friend Josh Patterson, Editor at DirtRag Magazine. Josh is a DK200 Veteran and passionate about gravel grinding. He told me DirtRag was wanting to kickstart our Dirty Kanza 200 Video Contest. Josh shared some ideas… we kicked things around a bit… then Josh made a few more phone calls to further sweeten the deal. Forget everything you might have seen previously about the Dirty Kanza 200 Video Contest. You will definately want to dust off your video camera and start shooting footage. This is SWEET!!!

Enter the Dirt Rag/GoPro Dirty Kanza 200 video contest.

The Grand Prize Winner will receive:

One free entry into the 2012 running of the Dirty Kanza 200.
A One-Year subscription to Dirt Rag Magazine.
One Dirt Rag team kit.
GoPro HD HERO with Chest Harness, Ride Mount… and the new LCD BacPac.

Here is how to enter:

Create a video documenting your preparation for, your participation in, and your recovery from the 2011 running of the Dirty Kanza 200. Post your video online. (On your personal blog, YouTube, Vimeo etc.) Then send us a link to your creation at editor@dirtragmag.com.

Videos will be posted on Dirt Rag’s Facebook page. Users can vote for their favorite video by clicking the ‘Like’ button. The video with the most ‘Likes’ wins!

Begin shooting anytime. However, entries should not be submitted prior to 06-11-2011, as your video will hopefully include your post-event condition (physical, mental & emotional) and comments. Deadline for entry is 08-31-2011. Our Winner will be announced on or around 09-30-2011.

Get creative. Get crazy. Have fun recording your Dirty Kanza 200 experience. Then share it with us.

Disclaimer: Have fun, but keep it clean. Submissions with questionable or obscene content will not be accepted nor considered.
