Coaching for the 2020 Garmin Dirty Kanza!

Take advantage of our brand new Dirty Kanza Coaching Program, which includes entry into the 2020 Dirty Kanza, as well as expert coaching and education to help guide you toward your best possible performance!

Preparing for the Dirty Kanza requires an intentional approach, targeting various energy systems and building your form and fitness to ‘peak’ at the right time. Unlike a generic training plan, personal coaching with our expert cycling coaches will help you to take advantage of your strengths, while improving your areas of weakness. Training plans are constantly updated and modified to fit your progress, as well as your busy personal and professional schedule.

This coveted Dirty Kanza Coaching Package is limited to a select few, and is available on a first come, first serve basis.

DK Gravel Package Includes:

  • Entry into the 2020 DK Race (200 or 100 mile distance). 
  • An experienced coach eager to help you achieve your race day goals
  • First 3 months of Life Time GOLD Level Customized Training Program*, inclusive of;
    • Weekly Updated Training Plans
    • Weekly phone consultations with your coach
    • Unlimited email communication
    • Athlete will move to a month-to-month payment after 3-month period.
      • $350 a month for Gold Level Training Program
      • $250 a month for Silver Level Training Program

COST: $2,050

*First 3 months of coaching included in cost. Athlete must renew coaching following 3-month period on a month-to-month basis.

Coaching Bios
Kristen Legan brings extensive coaching experience in endurance sports and has worked with athletes of all athletic backgrounds and experiences. A former pro triathlete, podium finisher at Dirty Kanza and elite cyclocross racer, Kristen has helped first-time racers, experienced veterans and professional athletes achieve their goals while keeping training and racing fun and meaningful.
Amy Charity has 14 years of experience in the financial sector, working in banking, venture capital, and at a hedge fund. At the age of 34 she left the financial industry to pursue her passion and a career in professional bike racing. Amy raced for the U.S. National Team and signed a contract with one of the top ten women’s professional racing teams in the world. Her team won a National Championship in the Team Time Trial and raced the World Championships. Amy recently published a book titled The Wrong Side of Comfortable and is one of the founders and directors of the gravel race – SBT GRVL. She is a podium finisher at LandRun, Crusher in the Tushar, Rebecca’s Private Idaho and a 2x top ten finisher at Dirty Kanza. Amy has been coaching athletes of all experience levels for over a decade.
Jake Wells is a 5 time national champion in mountain bike and cyclocross, 2nd place finish at the DK200 in 2017, DKXL Finisher 2019, and 1st place finish LandRun 100 Double 2019. With a back ground in running, Jake found his love of endurance sport early in life. After many successful years of racing mounting bikes and cyclocross at the elite level he has shifted his focus to helping others obtain their fitness goals. Jake is the owner of FÔRM Attainment Studio, in Edwards, CO, where they specialize in endurance coaching, one-on-one strength training and bike fitting. Jake is also a husband and father of 1. He enjoys sharing and exploring the outdoors with his family and being involved in the endurance community in the Vail Valley.
